Working with Mindbody Center
Treatment and Recovery at the Mindbody Counseling Center
Your First Session with Us
When you choose to begin the counseling process, you have said to your subconscious mind: “I am committed to change for the best for myself and/or my family.” We respect your courage and will bring to you whatever skills, processes and tools we have to make your journey successful. If one of our therapists is not the very best fit for you, we will help you find someone who can be.
Psychotherapy, Relationship Stress and Attention Deficit
Disorder Therapies
Adults facing today's life challenges, whether it be relational, economical, physical or spiritual, will find that counseling or psychotherapy can bring new skills, meaning and rejuvenation to their situation.
Children recovering from divorce and other traumas, as well those having difficulty focusing at school and at home have had success using our animated biofeedback programs.
Couples occasionally come up against what might appear to be an obstacle in their path to a happy relationship or marriage. Perhaps they are contemplating separation or divorce. Successful relationships can be regained when both partners become engaged in the marriage counseling process.
Potential Outcomes
• Reduction of anxiety: We have extensive experience in teaching people how to reduce the stress that everyday living can play out on their body and mind. If patterns of anxiety aren’t treated early, they can manifest as more serious problems, such as obsessive behaviors, phobias or panic attacks. Past traumatic events can make healthy living today difficult.
• Improved relationships with family and friends and an increased ability to communicate successfully.
• Increased self-confidence by eliminating negative beliefs and dysfunctional patterns that no longer support the best self you are becoming.
• Achieving personal goals by using additional support and coaching and by getting the help that may be needed to eliminate self-defeating patterns that have prevented success.
Insurance Information
If you are using an insurance provider, please bring your insurance card. You will need to call your provider to find out if you have a deductible and/or co-pays, as that may affect the out-of-pocket cost of your therapy. Remember, if you are using your insurance, your insurance company owns the right to your behavioral health information. Visa and Master Card are also accepted as payment methods. See fees, billing, and forms for more information on payment methods.
